Terms of Use

These are the terms on which you can use CozyWork. They're short, because the site is simple, but they do matter, so please read them.

1. Using the site

By using cozy-work.com ("the site") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept the updated version.

The site is free to use for personal, non-commercial purposes. You don't need an account, and you don't need to give us any personal information.

2. What CozyWork is (and isn't)

CozyWork is a virtual workspace with tools designed to help you focus and take breaks: background music, a focus timer, guided stretches and breathing, a calming window view and light puzzle games.

It is not medical, health or professional advice. The stretch and breathing activities are gentle, general-purpose routines. If you have an injury, a medical condition, or any doubt about whether an exercise is suitable for you, stop and consult a qualified professional. You use the activities at your own risk.

3. Third-party content

Some content on the site is provided by third parties:

  • Videos are embedded from YouTube and remain subject to YouTube's Terms of Service. We don't control their availability and they may change or be removed by their owners.
  • Music on the radio is licensed for use on the site. The tracks remain the property of their respective creators and may not be downloaded, extracted or reused.
  • Advertising is served by Google AdSense. We don't control which ads are shown and we aren't responsible for the content of advertisers' sites.

4. Our content

The design of the room, the artwork, the site's text and articles, and the CozyWork name are owned by us unless otherwise stated. You're welcome to link to any page on the site and to share screenshots. Please don't copy the site, its artwork or its articles wholesale, or present them as your own.

5. Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • attempt to interfere with the site, its servers or its advertising;
  • use automated tools to scrape, download or overload the site;
  • try to circumvent, disable or remove any advertising;
  • use the site in any way that is unlawful.

6. Availability and changes

We'll do our best to keep the site running smoothly, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may change, add or remove features at any time without notice. The room is a living project and it will keep evolving.

7. No warranty and limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under UK law.

8. Privacy

How we handle data is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
